Official invitation for the exhibition
In February 2009 took place in Montréal at the Eleanor London Library an exhibit of ten of the look-alikes photos. This was a WIP (work-in-progress) expo meant to show to the people of Montreal some of the pictures from the project and observe their reactions.
The response was excellent, with many people having a hard time believing the subjects were not related.

During the opening, François was invited to lecture about his I’m not a look-alike! project and explain how the project has made its way from a simple idea to a concrete set of images.
François Brunelle in front of the exhibition
The large format prints were made digitally on first quality German fiber paper, imitating perfectly the prints from a time past.
François brunelle is seen here putting the final touches to a mounted print.
The expo curators Dolores Gutierrez and Clara Halpern
Clara Halpern and Dolores Gutierrez, from the Library, worked together to make the expo a success with many constructive proposals in order to get maximum impact with the images.
